The most difficult part of building a blog or portfolio is getting access to photographers, stylists, or really anyone who could help you get where you’re trying to go. You spend the first few months posting content you will later deem not good enough, and then the rest of the time slowly making connections to get you the work you need. Well, Angelica and I are here to help you out.
Which is why we are launching #DoItForTheDames, a hashtag competition to give one lucky person the chance to win a shoot styled by me and shot by Angelica. Looking to get a well shot blog post? Done. Need some work for your portfolio? Got it. Whatever your reason, you’ll come out with some pretty shots that are bound to make you one happy camper. And to make it more fun, you get to shoot two different looks!
So what you really want to know is- how do I enter? And what all do I get? Well chill, I’m here to tell you that.
The winner will receive a shoot styled by me and shot by Angelica, obvs. After the shoot you’d get:
- 3-5 photos per outfit and 60 seconds of video
- a spotlight on both of our sites as well as each of our social media accounts, this includes a full blog post here on my blog.
Now, how do you win that shoot? Its actually ridiculously easy. All you have to do is use the hashtag #DoItForTheDames on your photos on Instagram, right there in the initial caption. Really wanna get noticed? Tag both of us to make sure we’re checkin’ out your work. Just make sure that the photos are of YOU and not another person, and that they aren’t mirror pics or anything like that. In a month, we will get together and select a winner! Just make sure you are from the DFW area before you start to enter, thats all I’m sayin’.
