Friday’s are normally when my workweek starts, but this past weekend was an exception because I had time off to have a birthday celebration followed by three blissful days off. I still had to report to work so Desire and I could snap some photos for STRUT’s insta, but it was an easy shift.

Diana joined us after a quick shoot where Morgan (from one of our Austin locations) briefly joined us. We finished everything up and then snapped some #ootd pictures for me!

I’ve been obsessed with this moss green slip dress lately. It’s extraordinarily versatile- I even dressed it up for my birthday party the next night. Over it I threw on a brighter green scarf for a monochromatic vibe. I carried my normal reversible tote and matched that with my new Target booties Desire bought me for Secret Santa.

Dallas Grilled Cheese Company has become my favorite lunch spot for two reasons: the staff is ridiculously nice. They always have someone waiting to open the door for you, which is OTT for a chill place, but I love that nevertheless.

The second reason is that it’s basically nothing but delicious comfort food with zero frills, which I appreciate. Try anything off the menu- it’s all good.

It also helps that they’re just down the alley from STRUT.

Post lunch, after Diana went home for a nap before BFFMAS, Desire and I also stopped by Ginger Fox Gallery. Not before I threw on a denim jacket because it was getting chilly (should we even speak of the cold front that rolled in Saturday?).

This little baby has a distressed collar with matching frayed cuffs. The dark wash paired well with the dark green slip and actually made me look more put together.

Look at Dez, she’s a babe. She’s also almost always behind the camera so it was nice to steal a photo of her. She also helps me coordinate outfits for STRUT.

How did you spend your Friday?
