I’ve only recently started carrying a purse since I stopped having to walk to work and can now drive there. Before that I had to carry a backpack, so I’ve been really excited to carry around cute bags.

I’ve also been really excited to narrow down the contents of my bag to just the few things I actually need and toss the ridiculous amount of receipts that used to litter the bottom of my backpack.

I also keep a SUPER long pink charger with me and also my phone, but I can’t find my charger and lets be real- my phone is always in my pocket.

My bag is a simple black reversible tote with a little pin on it. It’s about medium-ish size. Perfect for day to day use.

I’m trying to make sure that I always have some sort of a book with me these days to encourage me to stay off my phone a bit. With that goes my journal where I write down blog ideas, posting schedules, and lots of other stuff.

The other basics tend to be at least two different lip products, some sort of cream eyeshadow for touch ups, and an eyeliner. Oh and my little card holder, obviously.

This is my favorite Ipsy bag, ever.

My makeup bag is an old Ipsy bag that is just too damn cute not to use on a day-to-day basis. Inside I have:

– Laura Mercier Caviar Eyestick Colour in Rose Gold

-Whole Foods Organic Lip Balm in Vanilla Honey

-the Estee Edit FLASH PHOTO gloss

-Marc Jacobs Highliner Gel Eye Crayon in Blacquer

My current book is: Refinery29 Style Stalking by Christine Barberich & Piera Gelardi

My journal is from Neighborhood Store and is by Poketo, though this specific one is currently sold out.

This little cardholder is from Sorial and came in a Popsugar Mystery Box. They have great customer service (replaced my box for free when it was stolen off my door step) but this was the only good part of my box, honestly.

What’s in your bag?
