I’ve been having THE MOST FUN actually attempting to wear more color. Spring is a good time for this what with the influx of blues and florals. Blue is a great color to wear when you aren’t actually into wearing color and florals are easy patterns for those used to heather grey tees.

Obviously, my most recent posts can attest to my liking of florals.

We’re gonna talk about this top first. It’s got a lovely bell sleeve and is made of a light, easy to wear material. So for those of you who don’t like to show your arms- this is a great choice in the warmer weather. And then you’ve got the key hole slit that hints of danger or intrigue or… well something sexy. Its good. Its nice. Perhaps not the most comfortable item to wear when you’ve got big ole boobs, but you can always pair with a navy bralette and call it a day. OOH OR EVEN PEACH.

Okay, moving on.

I paired this baby with my go-to skinnies that I only wear when I am NOT going out to lunch because, as you already know- cozy comes first. With that, I threw on a little circle cross body and a pair of white leather Chucks.

As you can see, I am still breaking these in so uh… excuse the band-aides.

The jeans keep me comfortable and in my element. The shoes? Those bring in a little more brightness that is fitting for the season. It also helps make this look feel a little more sporty and laid back.

Overall, this is a good look. Maybe one I will wear again. Or replicate. It was moderately comfortable, so good for a coffee date and shopping. Obviously good for photo ops. Maybe not good for a big bowl of pasta, but we all make sacrifices.

Let me know what you think in the comments!

Welcome to the wonderful world of festival wear. Or, in my case- toned down festival wear.
