The PJ trend was big for fall, though you’d rarely see anyone sporting it in Dallas. Luckily, it’s a bit easier to wear in the spring and today’s ootd is a great example of how to wear it!

And it’s ridiculously simple too. I took this adorable little twosie set, tucked the top into the shorts, added converse and a necklace- outfit done. You’re on trend and comfortable af.

Tucking in your top while wearing matching sets like this always keeps them from looking like literal pajamas and more like your wearing a romper so comfortable you’ll want to wear it to bed.

Is anyone else guilty of working all day and falling asleep in the top you wore to work?

And since these are so loose and comfy, the back being exposed a bit is a fun and flirty detail that keeps you from feeling too frumpy!

I went with all white Converse for a more sporty look.

And just look at the cut of those shorts- ugh! I will say though that uh, well, wind is not your friend while you’re wearing these bad boys.

The most important part of wearing the PJ trend is simply to make sure that you have a good balance of cozy and cool. Skip flip flops and go for cool sneakers. Pair a long, textural necklace with it. Layer a leather or denim jacket over it. Play with the concept- eventually you’ll find the style that’s right for you.
